How do healthcare systems guarantee solidarity and accessibility?
Under this heading AIM, the international association of non-profit healthcare payers, will organize on Thursday morning 2 June a conference in The Hague, hosted by “Zorgverzekeraars Nederland”, the Dutch umbrella organisation of healthcare payers and member of AIM.
At the occasion of 10 years Dutch Health Insurance Act, the discussion will focus on the question how the private insurance organizations in The Netherlands and the different healthcare systems in Europe guarantee broad access to care. The conference will specifically focus on the situation in The Netherlands, Germany and Spain.
Mrs Edith Schippers, the Dutch Minister of Health, will officially open the conference. She will reflect on solidarity in the Dutch healthcare system and the priorities and foreseen results of the Dutch Presidency of the Council in the field of health and healthcare.
