The European Observatory on health systems and policies is a partnership between the European Commission, the World Health Organization as well as European governments that brings together different policy perspectives to generate evidence to better assess policies options and identify what health systems and policies evidence Europe’s decision makers need.

Its policy brief on “What are the implications of policies increasing transparency of prices paid for pharmaceuticals?”, the Observatory discusses the AIM’s fair pricing model as a key example existing collaborative initiative in the area of cost-plus pricing.
