AIM welcomes the conclusions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) for the proposed resolution and conclusions submitted to the Conference for adoption on decent work and the social and solidarity economy as well as the recommendations of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on Social Economy. AIM supports as well the initiative report from Spanish MEP Jordi Cañas, which was adopted by the Employment and Social Affairs Committee in the European Parliament. We are glad that the report calls for legislative changes for mutual societies, associations and foundations with regards to a European legal recognition and we hope for a good outcome in the plenary.
